Bucks County fall festivals: Catch all the fall feels in these towns (2024)

Looking for fall festival fun right in your Bucks County town? Well, pumpkin, many municipalities host seasonal celebrations to welcome fall. Doylestown kicked off the fall festival season Sept. 10 with its popular Arts Fest.

But don't worry if you missed the fun, these Bucks County towns have fun celebrations and all are welcome. Some are returning after a prolonged hiatus due to COVID.

Check out the list we compiled with the help of visitbuckscounty.com. These events promise all the fall favorites, whether its seasonal treats, craft vendors or fun for the kids. All are free to attend.

Check them out before all the fall feels give way to winter.

Yardley Harvest Day

Sept. 17, 2022

Visit Downtown Yardley Borough from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.In addition to a wide variety of handmade crafts and artwork, great food, local and civic groups and businesses, there will be live Music and entertainment.

Northampton Day

Sept. 25

The Northampton Day Committee, Team Toyota and Gasper Garden Center present the 2022 NorthamptonDay Festival from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the former Richboro Middle School on Holland Road.

The festival is extra special as it falls in the middle of the Northampton 300th celebration. It will feature several projects the 300th Committee has created celebrating the township’s past, present and future, in addition to the great lineup of activities, including the ever-popular talent show, Puppets Pizzazz, A-Z Magic, strolling mummers, as well as the amazing RGM Project.

The Bucks County Sheriff's Department will distribute “Kid ID Cards” and the Temple University Medi-Vac helicopter will land right on the field. The Wheelmen, dressed in period clothing, will be on hand with several old-time bicycles, and will with township police to offer a bike rodeo. The mini-horses are returning too.

Rides and amusem*nts are free this year and there is more kids entertainment with “Giant Games,” cornhole, and a photo booth.

New Hope Arts & Craft Festival

Sept. 24-25

Over 160 juried fine artists and craftsmen will exhibit their work in the New Hope-Solebury High School parking lots using media such as oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, fine and fun jewelry, ceramics, works in wood, fiber, furniture, wearable art, glass art, photography, outsider art, and more. A free bus is available from the festival parking to South Main Street at the Bucks County Playhouse, where visitors can take in all of New Hope's shops and restaurants. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Warrington Community Day

Sept. 24

Warrington celebrates community and business (rain date Sunday, Sept. 25th) from noon – 5:30 p.m. with bounce houses, food, music, a rock wall, displays from Emergency Services and K9 demonstrations at John Paul Park at Lower Nike, 301 Folly Road. Starting at 6 pm the fun continues at Upper Nike Park, 300 Folly Road with a live band, food, and fireworks at dusk with music.

Bensalem Family Fall Festival

Oct. 1

Bensalem celebrates community pride with family entertainment, music, food trucks, beer garden and evening concert and fireworks. The fun starts at 3 p.m. at the municipal complex on Byberry Road. Concert is set for 6 p.m. followed by fireworks at 8:15 p.m. Rain date Oct. 2 Free shuttle from over flow parking area at Bensalem High School. Accessible parking and shuttle from senior center.

Bristol Township Fall Festival

Oct. 1

Visit the Bristol Township municipal complex on Bath Road for family fun with vendors, kids activities and food. Raffle at the senior center during the festival that runs from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., with a rain date of Oct. 2.

Newtown Market Day

Oct. 1

Market Day is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Centre, Court and Mercer streets. The annual outdoor event celebrates the colonial tradition of local farmers and homesteaders bringing their crops, livestock, and homemade wares into town to sell to neighbors & townspeople, organizers say. "It is our proud tradition to feature high-quality crafters, artisans & fine artists; colonial-era demonstrations, reenactments & activities; farm stands; entertainment for all ages; and food from local restaurants," according to the website. The event supports the Newtown Historic Association.

Perkasie Fall Festival

Oct. 2

Fromnoon to 4 p.m. in the town center and at Menlo Park. Free buses available between locations. Entertainment, acrobats, music, food trucks, huge vendor fair, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making, games, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, crafts, tractor rides, and much much more.

Quakertown Borough Fall Festival

Oct. 8

Enjoy a night filled with spooky games and tasty treats! A fun festival that runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Univest Performance Center at the Park at 4th, with various crafts and activities. Hayrides, scarecrow decorating contest, moon bounces, games, activities, sensory tent, costume contest, trunk or treat, and more.

Historic Fallsington Day

Oct. 8

Come out to this free, annual, outdoor event in Fallsington off Tyburn Road on from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The day will feature folksingers, puppet shows, jugglers, Colonial dancing, Native American dancing and culture, demonstrations of Colonial skills, and more on and around Yardley Avenue. Visit the entire village to purchase some homemade crafts made by local artisans, buy new & used books, tour the historic museum buildings and other places throughout the town, purchase a homemade treat or two, and more. Parking available at Fallsington Elementary School.

October Fest in Morrisville

Oct. 9

Morrisville will celebrate its first ever Williamson Park October Fest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day includes food trucks, craft vendors, music and pumpkin-pie and carved pumpkins contests.

Historic Bristol Day

Oct. 15

Come for a day of fun in this historic river town. The event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. includes entertainment, historical tours, crafters and vendors, an amazing car show, a sailing regatta, an antique boat show, children's activities and a food court by the Delaware River.

The Schooner North Wind, a 75-foot vessel owned by Gloucester City Sail, will provide public sails during the event. One-hour “Delaware River cruises” from the Bristol Wharf at 10:30 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. will be offered. Adults $20, children (under 10) $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance by going toNorthWindSail.org.

Middletown Makers Market

Oct. 15

Visit the municipal complex from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to check out vendors, crafters, music, food trucks, pumpkin painting and more. The event benefits Middletown Community Foundation.

Autumn Alive! Fall Festival in Quakertown

Oct. 15

Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Autumn Alive! fall festival focuses on fun and our furry friends, according to Visitbuckscounty.com. The Broad Street Pet Parade is always a family favorite. Along with crafters and businesses, pet rescue organizations will line Broad Street from 4thStreet to Hellertown Avenue and down Branch Street. There will be plenty of family fun to enjoy children’s activities, live entertainment all day on two stages, cupcake contests, Food Court, Authors Corner, and guests of age can enjoy samples of beer and wine in the Beer Garden.

Olde Langhorne Harvest Day

Oct. 29

A great fall festival in the heart of Langhorne event for all ages. Vendors, food, live music, moon bounce and more sponsored by the Langhorne Borough Business Association. Visits West Maple Avenue from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
